The Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Ensemble is an Chamber Orchestra made up of 32 elements and is composed entirely of professors from the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra. The Ensemble has an extremely high level of professionalism thanks to the experience of its musicians built up at the Comunale Theatre in Firenze under the guidance, as well as of the mentioned Zubin Mehta, of great conductors of our time such as Abbado, Prêtre, Muti, Maazel, Bychkov, Chung, Giulini, Ozawa, Sinopoli, and of great conductors of the past such as Carlos Kleiber, Karajan, Bernstein, De Sabata, Guarnieri, Marinuzzi, Gavazzeni, Serafin, Furtwängler, Walter.

The Ensemble naturally has a great flexibility of repertoire, ranging from 18th century instrumental music to contemporary authors, touching all the cornerstones of traditional chamber orchestra repertoire and finally dealing with symphonic music by Mozart, Haydn, and Beethoven in his first period.

He attended the Cherubini Conservatory in Florence graduating in piano under the guidance of Fiorella Lofaro, graduating in composition with Rosaria Mirigliano and in orchestra direction with Alessandro Pinzauti. As a pianist he won several completion and festivals and he performed with orchestras, as soloist and as accompanist for singers.
As a composer he has been noticed in various performances and his works have been performed by various institutions including: the University Institute of Music in Rome, the Scuola Normale of Pisa, the Philharmonic Academy of Bologna, the Culture French Institute in Florence, the Testaccio Music School in Rome. He deepened the study of orchestra conduction mostly with M° Jorma Panula, but also with M° Julius Kalmar and with M° Daniel Lewis at the Manhattan School of Music in New York. He was the Ensamble GAMO chief conductor (Gruppo Aperto Musica Oggi contemporary music ensemble in Florence) and as a conductor he worked for various projects cooperating with institutions such as Tempo Reale, and Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte di Montepulciano, conducting several first performances.


He was chief conductor of Harmonia Cantata Choir of Florence, from 1998 to 2003, a project born in the Fiesole School of Music and directed by conductor such as Gabbiani, Inbal, Lu Ja, Bartoletti. He is chief conductor of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Ensemble. Varoli worked with soloist such as Shlomo Mintz, Franco Maggio Ormezowsky, Andrea Lucchesini. As chief conductor of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Ensemble, he cooperate beside Estate Regina Festival, with various concert institution. He recorded the following operas: Zingari by Ruggero Leoncavallo, Requiem by Domenico Cimarosa, La Scala di seta by Giocchino Rossini. He is chairman and music director of Maggio Fiorentino Formazione, High Education Academy of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Theatre.
